Acts 18:9-10 One night the Lord spoke to Paul in a vision and told him, “Don’t be afraid! Speak out! Don’t be silent! For I am with you, and no one will attack and harm you, for many people in this city belong to me.” (NLT)
When is the last time you shared the word of God with someone who needed the truth? Many of us will respond with: not often! We refrain from sharing the good news of Jesus to our family, friends or coworkers because of our own limitations, such as laziness, fear of rejection and more. However, God is reminding us today not to be afraid but to be bold, for it will not be us speaking, but the Spirit of our Father speaking through us. (Matthew 10:20).
This passage is timely as some of the C3 Rivers church members will be going to evangelise in Amsterdam today. God gave his only son to die on the cross that whoever believes in him shall not perish because God loves everyone, including the people we will be speaking to on the street today (John 3:16).
Nevertheless, one can only belong to God when choosing to receive this free gift of salvation through Jesus Christ. That’s why God wants to use our voices to reach out to many nations and share the good news about Jesus Christ.
For you are saved by grace through faith, you also ought not to be afraid or silent to share the word of God because the world around you needs the truth, and God will use you to spread it!
Let’s go!!
