Exodus 17:11-12 As long as Moses held up his hands, the Israelites were winning, but whenever he lowered his hands, the Amalekites were winning. When Moses’ hands grew tired, they took a stone and put it under him and he sat on it. Aaron and Hur held his hands up—one on one side, one on the other…
Where 2 or 3 are together in His name there He is in our midst. All of us need Aarons and Hurs around us. Friends who are with us not just when the weather is fine but also in adverse weather. Friends who have seen our weaknesses and still love us. Do you have such friends and are you such a friend to those around you?
God has designed life in such a way that we cannot do it alone. It is not good for man to be alone. Friend, do you have friends? Have you surrounded yourself with people whom you can do life with? It will take time to build these relationships but it can start by being part of a healthy local church and investing in one person at a time. Friendships can be made. Friends can be chosen. By you. One person at a time.
Especially as a leader I am so happy to have such friends without which I would not be able to do what I do, and without which God could not have brought about many victories we have experienced.
Thank God for such friends and ask God for such friends!
A man who has friends must himself be friendly, But there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother (Proverbs 18:25, NKJV)
