NOTE from Bijbelkracht: from now on our blog posts on Saturday and Tuesday will be in English

Genesis 3:2-3 The woman said to the serpent, “We may eat fruit from the trees in the garden, but God did say, ‘You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden, and you must not touch it, or you will die.’”
Knowing God’s words is one thing and believing it for our lives is another. Many times like Eve, we know God’s words but don’t believe in what God says about our circumstances.
Eve was able to quote God’s word, but the enemy also had his own version of the same message. It is essential for us to know the word of God and let it dwell in us that no matter the lies of the enemy, we know and believe in the truth from our heavenly father.
Whatever truth we allow in our hearts will make us see things either in God’s perspective or the enemy’s.
That’s why our prayer today is to ask God to help us know his words that it may dwell deeply in our hearts that whatever trials we might face this year, we will meditate on the word of God, and nothing will take us away from the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ.
