When visiting a new place, it helps to have a guide. Someone who knows the city and can show you its hidden sights. Having a guide both saves time and enhances the experience of the visit.
A child of God does not have to walk through this life alone, with no guide. Or worse, with the wrong guide. Rather, we are led by the Spirit of God! He is your guide.
This means you do not have to be bound by fear – even when the world is. As a Christian you have left that kingdom. You are a child of the new kingdom, where faith is your fuel and fear no longer your master.
Pray in the spirit when you feel fear coming on.
Pray in the spirit when you need wisdom.
Be led by the Spirit of God. That marks you out as a child of God.
