Exodus 15:2-3
The Lord is my strength and my song;
he has given me victory.
This is my God, and I will praise him
my father’s God, and I will exalt him!
The Lord is a warrior;
Yahweh is his name! (NLT)

God miraculously divided the red sea to allow the Israelites to walk through the middle of the sea on dry ground, with walls of water on each side. The mighty power of God saved the Israelites from Egyptians again; Moses and the people of Israel worshipped God not only for what He did but mainly for who God is.

Yahweh is the name of our God, who is the same yesterday and today and forever (Hebrews 13:8). Therefore, we need to remember that the same God who performed miracles for the Israelites is with us today.

We are living in such a challenging time, but when we come before God and worship who He is, God opens our spiritual eyes to see beyond our circumstances. Worship welcomes the presence of the King of Heaven, who is also our Father and Friend. The presence of God breaks strongholds and brings breakthrough.

Let’s take time to attribute honour and praise to our LORD Jesus Christ for his strength that he has given us today; and for the victory, he has already won for us tomorrow.

Yahweh, our God IS, and He will always be there for you and your family. Amen.
