It’s not over yet!

Genesis 21:5 Abraham was a hundred years old when his son Isaac was born to him.

Abraham was seventy-five years old when God promised to make him a great nation in Genesis 12:1-4, which means that they waited for twenty-five years before receiving their promised son. Every year that passed Abraham and Sarah were reminded that they were both losing the ability to have a son, and the only thing they had was the word of God.

God’s timing is not the same as our timing. You might have been waiting for God’s miracle for twenty-five years like Abraham or ten years or even five days. No matter how long it has been, don’t give up because we serve a God that will always keep His promises.

Hebrews 11:1 says that faith is believing in what we don’t see, meaning that, the important part of waiting on God’s promise is not the promise but God Himself. In the twenty-five years of waiting, Abraham didn’t see Isaac or any biological possibilities of having a child, but he focused his eyes on God, and that’s where he found hope.

You might not see the result right now, but trusting in God as you wait is knowing that God loves you and that He wants to fulfil His promises in your life.

As long as we serve the living God, it’s not over yet!
